John D. Giddens
John Giddens is the founding member of John D. Giddens Law Firm. He established the firm in 1999 with a dedication to those who cannot otherwise help themselves. Mr. Giddens is a victim's rights advocate who chooses to represent the interests of individuals over corporations. His practice is devoted to helping Mississippians seek justice.
Mr. Giddens has extensive experience in a number of areas of legal practice, including being lead counsel in multi-million dollar medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability and personal injury cases. Mr. Giddens has been lead counsel in cases receiving significant jury verdicts involving personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, premises liability, the mis-filling of prescriptions, and birth trauma.

Mary B. Cotton
Mary "Betsy" Cotton began working in the legal field in 1988 as a legal secretary. Over the years, she has worked her way up through the ranks from a legal secretary to an attorney. Through those positions, she learned nearly every aspect of cases from beginning to conclusion.
In 1995, while maintaining her role as a wife and mother to three young children, Mrs. Cotton enrolled in courses at Belhaven College to complete her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in June 1997, and enrolled at Mississippi College School of Law. She began classes in August 1997 to earn a Juris Doctorate Degree. Mrs. Cotton graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in May 2000, and was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in February 2001. At that time, she assumed the responsibility of legal counsel on many of the cases where she had once assisted as a paralegal.
Mrs. Cotton brings to the law practice more than 18 years of total legal experience. Her areas of practice include automobile liability, medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability, wrongful death, as well as handling the guardianships resulting from settlements reached for minor children.
